As a child, one of my favorite books was James Thurber’s Many Moons, about a princess who falls ill, and believes that nothing but having the moon on a chain around her neck will heal her. When the king fears that she will discover it’s not the real moon she wears, her explanation puts him at ease and he realizes that sometimes the simplest answers really are the best ones.

So go ahead — reach for the moon!
